, initially, police told us they were looking for kim tolefree as well as a 1-year- old child, a girl. her name was -- her name is isaza tolefree. she was described as last wearing a pink shirt with blue bears holding anage and yellow blanket and kim tolefree was last seen wearing a plaid and beige coat, acid washed jeans. we're told the suspect was armed and dangerous. the twist -- and we just got done talking with oakland police and her daughters as well, we're told this may not be a child at all. it may be a case of domestic violence involving drugs. here's what one neighbor said. we don't that have sound right now. we're trying to sort out out the details. a cording -- sort the details. this 1-year-old girl, according had kim tolefree's daughters, the child does not exist. it may have been a matter of a domestic violence case with drugs. pline floor -- brian flores, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> we're following developing news out of turkey. a suicide bomber set off explosives killing himself and an embassy security guard. coming up at 7:15, what we are hearing about the group responsible

says it does not know the motive for today's deadly bombing on the edge of the u.s. embassy compound in ankara, turkey. a suicide bomber detonated his explosives after entering a security checkpoint. turkish authorities say the bomber was a member of a banned marxist group. that group has been designated as a terrorist organization. kristin welker joins us with reaction from the white house. what is the white house saying about this? >> reporter: strong condemnation from the white house, jay carney saying this is a terrorist attack, making the point that they have not confirmed who exactly is behind this. though, as you point out, turkish officials say it was a 40-year-old man who was connected to a leftist organization in turkey. but, again, the white house condemning this action, urging americans to stay away from the embassy building there in turkey. also urging precautions in all of the embassies overseas. remember, this comes several months after that attack against the u.s. consulate in benghazi. state department officials working to make sure that these types of attacks are pr

. south of us, generally in the 50s. during the day tomorrow, colder air coming in. low pressure across southern areas. may give us a little backlash, snow. late tonight and perhaps again tomorrow, with colder air, we could see some small accumulations. tim has a look at that. tim? >> well, as bob just showed you, the storm is going to strengthen offshore. so with the dynamics means, pulls in moisture, kicks off the cold air. what it means for the state as a hole is a -- whole is a dusting to an inch intensifies. down on the eastern shore. maybe another blast of snow as the colder air really settles in late tomorrow afternoon, before the storm completely clears the area. but mostly a rain-snow mix for most of the eastern shore and southern maryland. this is not unlike the last few storms that have come on through. it will create a bit of a nuisance. not so many things will be impacted. but we will see a colder weekend ahead now back inside. >>> thank you, tim and bob. check in for first warning weather coverage. for the updated forecast. l

pleaded guilty in the shooting of daniel boroughy. -- daniel borowy. he used his father's disassembled shotgun. he seriously injured 17-year- old daniel borowy. gladden's attorney spoke to his family after the plea. >> they're satisfied with what happened. i explained to them what the circumstances are. they have been very understanding people from the beginning. >> reporter: gladden also pleaded guilty to using a firearm in a violent crime. mary? >> okay, jessica. thank you. gladden faces a maximum of 40 years in prison, when he is sentenced on monday. >>> invasion of privacy. the investigation is expanding into a johns hopkins doctor, who is believed to have been secretly videotaping patients. police say 54-year-old dr. nikita levy, committed suicide in his towson home monday. he was fired on february 8th, when an employee reported that he was using his personal camera to take video and pictures of his patients. baltimore police, along with federal prosecutors, are part of this investigation. city police are setting up a tipline for information ab

4's reggie kumar shows us what that suspect may look like. >> reporter: this woman yelled of the suspect to stop breaking into the car. investigators say that he managed to gain access through a front window. and repeatedly punched the woman in the face. police say the woman and a daughter managed to escape the home and that a suspect in a second to a male suspect chased the man down the street. the same person that was insulted her in her home continued to assault her in the street and put a gun to our head and even the threatened to kill her. they called police. the suspect returned to the home and ransacked it appeared the victim was taken to hospital where she was treated fo a broken nose. this suspect is described as a hispanic male. 5 ft. 11 in., light complexion, with dark clothing. the victim's daughter was not injured. reggie kumar, kron 4. >> pam: for more than four decades. the 49ers have played at candlestick point in san francisco. but next season will be the teams last at the stick. the city has announced plans to demolish the stadium after the team moves sou

wjz is live at city police headquarters. mike hellgren stays on this investigative story for us. >> reporter: and police released the name of that instructor, william scott kern. they released it a little more than an hour ago. he has worked for the department for almost two decades. the fraternal order of police has praised his work. the state's attorney says he is closely monitoring the investigation under way. >> reporter: wjz is getting answers to some of the many questions surrounding the shooting of an officer during training at the state-owned rosewood hospital site in baltimore county. sources tell wjz, at the time, more than 1 dozen officers were undergoing training there by two baltimore city police instructors. those sources revealed, after lunch, one instructor decided to resume training before the other returned. wjz has learned that violates police policy. instructors are supposed to check for service weapons before training. as we first reported, sources say it was after the lunch break when someone present confused his servic
